Mainsgill – not really the sort of place to pop out for a pint of milk or a cup of sugar, but a good place to visit and watch the children in the playpark, while enjoying an al fresco cup of coffee.
Drive or walk into Ravensworth. Then walk to Mainsgill along well signposted footpaths. Little in the way of elevation. An enjoyable stroll along the valley floor of Holmedale, to the deer, Guanaco’s and sheep (not forgetting the camels)
Shop for goodies and return the way you came, with your purchases in a back pack
